Theological Questions
Have you ever asked a question in church and gotten an answer that just didn't quite satisfy? You are not alone. This page exists for the thinker, the researcher, and the believer who suspects there is more to the story than what they have been taught.
These are not casual questions. They are the questions that serious seekers, researchers, and truth-hunters ask when they begin to sense that something significant is off, and has been changed, hidden, or lost somewhere between Mount Sinai and Sunday morning.
Every question here is rooted in history, anchored in the Hebrew text, and answered without the filter of church tradition, creeds or overlays. Browse the questions, read the short answers, and follow the links to Substack for the full article. The truth has always been there. Sometimes it just needs someone willing to ask the right question.
Each week these pages will be updated and more articles will be added. Check back each week and see what has been added. You might be surprised!

The Hebrew language and the culture of the ancient Hebrews are the foundation of everything in Scripture. This category explores why studying both transforms the way you read, understand, and live the Word — and why no translation alone can take you there.
Why Study Hebrew?
Every English Bible you have ever read is a translation — and something is lost in every translation. Hebrew is not just a language. It is the vehicle through which YHWH inscribed His covenant, named Himself, and designed His Word with layers of meaning that no translation can fully carry. A single Hebrew word can hold three different meanings at once. A name can be a theological statement. A poetic structure can carry truth that the words themselves do not contain. If you have ever felt that something was missing from your study of Scripture — you were right. The full article is on Substack. Come find what you have been missing. Why Study the Culture of the Ancient Hebrews?
Scripture was not born in a library. It was spoken in tents, lived in deserts, and shaped by a culture that thought, worshipped, and obeyed in ways completely foreign to the modern Western mind. When you read the Bible through a twenty-first century lens, you are reading someone else's mail and guessing at what it means. The customs, the covenants, the festivals, the family structures — these are not background details. They are the interpretive key to everything. Without them, we risk reshaping His Word into our own image. The full article is waiting for you on Substack. Read the full article on Substack →
