Shared Beliefs Between the Catholic and the Christian Churches

Daughters of Rome:  The Hidden Family Tree

Introduction

Most Christians today believe they’ve left Rome behind. They point to the Reformation as the great divorce—believing they now walk a purer path, free from Catholic error. But look closer. Strip away the stained glass and incense, and you may find the same bones beneath the skin, and the same running through their veins. This teaching uncovers the deep-rooted doctrines, holidays, titles, symbols, and sacraments that modern Christianity inherited—not from YHWH, but from Rome. Whether Baptist or Pentecostal, Lutheran or non-denominational, many still cling to traditions birthed in papal halls, not in Torah scrolls. These shared beliefs are not minor overlaps—they are sacred cows, passed down from mother to daughter. And if we are to return to the Way of YHWH, we must first ask: Who taught us what we believe? And why do we still carry the marks of Rome if we claim to have left her?
