Paul vs. Jesus' Teaching

Two Voices - Torah vs. Faith and Grace

Introduction

One Road, or a Fork?

For centuries, the world has been told that Paul and Jesus spoke in one accord—that the zealous apostle simply explained what the humble teacher began. But when we strip away layers of tradition and read their words side by side, a different picture emerges.

One taught full obedience to the Torah—every jot, every tittle.  The other said the Law was a burden we are no longer under.

Jesus declared:

If you would enter life, keep the Commandments.

The other insisted,

You are not under the Law, but under grace.

Can both be right?

This page does not exist to stir controversy. It exists to bring clarity. To lay bare contradictions long ignored. To ask the questions many have feared:

  • Why does Paul sound so different from YHWH’s prophets?

  • Why does he often undo what Jesus said to uphold?

  • And why has the world built its faith on Paul—rather than the One they claim to follow?

If Jesus truly lived and taught Torah, and Paul claims to have been taught by Him, then why do Paul’s teachings so often contradict the very Torah Jesus upheld?  If Paul truly learned from Jesus as he claimed, then why does his teaching veer so far from what Jesus upheld and taught?

Either Jesus didn’t teach Paul what He taught others, or Paul did not understand Him entirely… or something doesn’t add up.
