Original Sin
Inherited Guilt or Inherited Lies
Introduction
The Inherited Guilt That Never Was
From cradle to grave, billions have been told they were born broken—condemned not for what they did, but for who they are. This doctrine, known as “Original Sin,” claims that every soul inherits guilt from Adam’s fall, stained at birth, damned unless rescued by belief in a vicarious death.
But the Torah speaks differently.
Nowhere in the Hebrew Scriptures does YHWH declare that guilt is passed from father to child. In fact, He says the opposite:
The soul that sins—it shall die. The son shall not
bear the iniquity of the father… (Ezekiel 18:20).
Every person is accountable for their own choices, not Adam’s mistake. This page will unearth the origins of this foreign doctrine—born not in Jerusalem, but in the minds of Greco-Roman philosophers and church councils. It will shine the light of Torah on centuries of confusion and free those still carrying shame they were never meant to bear.
You were not born cursed. You were born with breath—the same breath YHWH breathed into Adam. It’s time to reclaim it.
