Whose Clock Are You Following?

The world counts down, the ball drops, the fireworks boom, and champagne spills in the streets. It’s the start of a new year—or so we’ve been told. But have you ever stopped to ask who decided this was the beginning? Who set the clock and called it divine? Whose calendar are we really following—and is it the one given by the Creator of Heaven and Earth?

 

What if I told you that January 1st has nothing to do with YHWH’s appointed times, and everything to do with ancient Rome, pagan gods, and the slow erosion of sacred cycles? What if the true “New Year” begins not in winter’s deadness, but in spring’s rebirth—when barley ripens and the first month YHWH named begins to whisper through the land?

 

This article isn’t about condemning celebration—it’s about realigning your life to the rhythm of Heaven. It’s about reclaiming what was stolen.  Because the question isn’t just “When is the New Year?”
